Family Law Makes A Lifetime of Difference

Our family law practice originated in 1973. More than 45 years later, after significant changes in family law and society, our divorce lawyers compose a formidable team prepared to aid you in divorce, child custody disputes, support claims, alimony claims, the negotiation of property settlements, the drafting of pre-marital agreements and other family law matters, including those on behalf of individuals with significant wealth.

With empathy and compassion our firm delivers the family law expertise you need during such sensitive times.

John A. Saling and William J. Litvin, our law firm founders, have served Chester County since 1973. Our veteran team of respected divorce and family law attorneys is lead by William J. Litvin and Evan K. Hambleton. Their experience encompasses a wide variety of legal issues involving marriage, family, and relationship issues, including divorce, alimony, child custody, support and pre-marital agreements.

Orphans Court Litigation

When an individual over the age of eighteen lacks the ability to manage his or her own finances or make informed decisions regarding his or her own health or safety, a guardian may be required.  Our attorneys have extensive experience assisting those seeking the appointment of a guardian on behalf of a loved one, and representing those over whom guardianship is sought.

Douglas W. Olshin has focused a significant portion of his practice on Orphans’ Court litigation.  Mr. Olshin has represented clients seeking guardianships on behalf of loved ones, and been appointed to represent alleged incapacitated individuals by the Judges of the Orphan’s Court of Chester County.  He has lectured on recent updates to the Orphan’s Court Rules of Procedure, and argued complex Trust and Guardianship issues before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

Real Estate Transactions

For over forty years, Saling, Litvin & Hambleton has dealt with all types of real estate transactions.  From residential real estate purchases and sales, landlord/tenant matters (in which we have represented several large residential landlords) to zoning and land development issues, from construction companies to commercial and industrial “flex” projects, we have represented both individual and business clients.  If you have any issue in any aspect of real estate law, call us for guidance and representation.
